Park Slope Townhouse
A full gut renovation of a 3-story townhouse in Park Slope. This project included converting the cellar, previously used for utility and storage, to a rec room and home theater. The cellar work involved lowering the floor slab almost two feet which required underpinningthe entire building foundation. While the traditional front/rear parlor configuration of the first floor was left intact, giving this floor a degree of formality, the English basement was converted to an open and informal family space centered around the kitchen.
